Abbreviations

Hi Joanna
I am translating some German 'Death' Cards and come across (7JHr Abl.) and (30 TG Abl) I think they are something to do with indulgences or prayers can you help? Words I can translate but abbreviations are so difficult

That's a new one for me!

If you mean Sterbeurkunde (death certificate) then I think the Abl. is Ablage, i.e. files in a registry of births and deaths. Here 7-year file and 30-day file. I consulted with a Catholic friend but they weren't familiar with the references.
